TBM primarily engages in the development, manufacturing, and sales of the environmentally conscious material “LIMEX,” as well as the resource circulation business, which includes the operation of recycling plants and a platform for procuring recycled materials.

LIMEX is an eco-conscious material, primarily made from limestone. It is a composite material based on a dispersed inorganic filler system that contains more than 50% inorganic substances such as limestone (calcium carbonate). Used as an alternative to plastics and paper, LIMEX contributes to addressing resource depletion and climate change. Already adopted by over 10,000 companies and local governments, it is utilized in a wide range of applications including bags, container packaging, and printed materials. "LIMEX Pellet," widely used as an alternative to plastic, contains over 50% inorganic materials such as calcium carbonate, which enables a reduction in the use of petroleum-based plastics and lowers GHG emissions. In addition, it is suitable for material recycling like a single material. Molding LIMEX Pellet does not require new molding machines, as it can be processed using various methods with existing machines.

In its resource circulation business, TBM has set a target known as “TBM Pledge 2030,” aiming to circulate 1 million tons of LIMEX and plastics across 50 countries by 2030. Additionally, the company is establishing a domestic resource circulation platform that promotes the trading of recycled raw materials, the planning of closed-loop systems, the operation of recycling plants, and the development and sales of recycled materials and products.
